FOR PET OWNERS

Starting October, 2026 Sound Veterinary Care Hawaii is launching a direct-to-home mobile veterinary ultrasound service. This specialized service will initially be available to pet owners residing in West Oahu and the North Shore. Shortly after, we plan to expand into a full service mobile veterinary practice to provide your pets with comprehensive, direct to home medical care.

How Dr. Graas can help manage your pets health:

1) In-Home Mobile Ultrasound Services: Sound Veterinary Care is the only mobile service on Oahu offering direct to home abdominal ultrasounds and echocardiograms. This allows us to deliver advanced diagnostic imaging right in the comfort of your living room, saving you a stressful trip to a veterinarian.

2) Advanced Heart Disease Management: Dr. Graas is experienced with managing patients with early, moderate, and advanced stage heart disease. He collaborates closely with telemedicine veterinary cardiologists to build and implement treatment plans promptly.

3) Full Mobile Veterinary Care (Coming Late 2026): pets are naturally more relaxed in their own environments. The stress of travel and traditional clinic visits can sometimes cause owners to delay necessary medical care. Soon, we will offer a full suite of veterinary in-home services to improve access to veterinary care on Oahu.

Sound Veterinary Care is here to support your team with prompt, specialist-backed veterinary ultrasound imaging. All imaging is performed by Dr. Jonathon Graas.

1) Expanding Access to Cardiology and Abdominal Ultrasounds: In response to the shortage of specialists in Hawaii, Dr. Graas provides high quality image acquisition and a direct link to board-certified specialist interpretation.

2) Specialist Validated Reports: All studies are submitted to board-certified specialists (Cardiac Vet, Heartline and Antech). Reports include detailed treatment and long term monitoring recommendations.

3) Proven Diagnostic Quality: Our standards are vetted by board certified specialists. Dr. Saelinger, DACVIM (cardiology), noted: “Dr. Graas is highly skilled in echocardiogram image acquisition… his images are superb and histories are detailed.”

4) Statewide Accessibility: Dr. Graas is committed to serving all of Hawaii. Dr. Graas schedules monthly visits to Kauai, Maui, and the Big Island. If you are located on Lanai or Molokai, please contact us!

5) No Case Too Small (No Minimums!): Dr. Graas will visit your hospital for even a single ultrasound. Sound Veterinary Care’s priority is to improve access to quality imaging Hawaii-wide, without exception.

6) Urgent & On Call Imaging: When time is of the essence, Dr. Graas can help. Same-day ultrasound appointments are available daily to support your critical patients.
